Mary - the final year book project

These are outcomes of my final year book project that I made on the nativity story. I wanted to tell the familiar story, that I find incredibly powerful in its meaning and as a story which has changed and shaped people and cultures all over the word. I wanted to present Mary as a main character in it and invite a reader to rethink the whole narrative from her perspective. God chose a young girl bring the revolution about that the whole Jewish nation had been waiting for centuries. She also has been waiting for the liberator, and then God told her to give a birth to this King…

I used this screen print on a front cover.

The book is physically a bit comblicated, so it's hard to present

in this form. all the screen prints are bouble spreads that fold

in the middle making an A5 landscape paper size.
